Do you find yourself always cramming the night before a test? 🥲 NEXKY has a solution! Let’s use “Spaced Repetition” together! If you haven’t read about “Active Recall,” feel free to read that up in our ‘Stories’ section, as today’s technique will be even MORE effective if you use them hand-in-hand! 😋
What is Spaced Repetition?

Spaced Repetition is when you spread out your studying/review sessions at specific intervals over a period of time! ⏳ Although our memories decay over time, BUT! our brains tend to remember MORE when we use higher effort to retain that information. 😱
Remember! Studying more does not guarantee you will have higher grades! It is the act of utilizing active recall and spaced repetition that makes your studying session much more efficient. 🥺💚NEXKY thinks that cramming is much more tiring compared to planning your spaced repetition ahead! 🤙🏼
Here is an example schedule for you to try it out, but you may plan out the intervals yourself too!

💚Day 0 : First learned
💚Day 1 : Write down all the important information in your notes!
💚Day 3 : Use active recall without your notes! Try to recall as much as you can!
💚Day 6 : Short study sessions with active recall again!
💚Day 7 : Study everything all over again using your notes! Then active recall again!
*Make sure to use this method at least a week before the test for best results! 🤩✍🏻
Don’t be discouraged if you feel like you forget stuff halfway through the semester!🤗 It is actually a good thing! You won’t gain many benefits from studying if you don’t forget. But! It is essential to blend in these techniques to see the best results!
