Whether you are using a tablet or a notepad 📝, it is crucial to organize them into different subjects! At the start of each semester, NEXKY loves reading through each course’s syllabus to better understand what we are learning in the following weeks! ⏭ Next, with a blank sheet of paper/digital planner, categorize each subject’s syllabus as follows :
1️⃣ Course Description
2️⃣ Course Objective
3️⃣ Assessment / Grading System
4️⃣ Course Schedule/ Weeks (Name of each week’s topic)
You may be wondering! Aren’t all the course syllabus prepared for us digitally? Why bother writing it all out?🤔 Well, NEXKY finds that handwriting helps us memorize and understand things better! When you take the time to read and understand each category in the syllabus, writing it out will give you much better memorization! 💪🏼 Plus, these 4 categories make you have a bigger birds-eye-view of the entire course! 👀 It’d be much easier going back to these notes than the actual syllabus for easier references! But of course, do keep the syllabus as it may contain much more detailed information. 💗💖
