1. More Cardio = More Hungry 🤤

Cardio exercises do help you burn calories, but they all make you extra hungry due to the drop in blood sugar. We tend to look for extra food/calories to fill during the ‘starving’ state, making our hard effort wasted! 😱

2. More Cardio = More Injuries 🤕

We often believe that longer hours of cardio = more fat burned. But! These high-impact exercises are prone to injuries such as stress fracture, joint pain, tendonitis, and many more! When you’re injured, the healing process takes longer and ultimately, you get less time to exercise. 😭

3. Hard to Build Muscles 🏋🏼🏋🏻‍♀️

Building lean muscles is essential to burn extra calories throughout the day and during your sleep. It can also provide you all with the shape you are picturing to achieve! Sadly, cardio exercise does not help build much lean muscles. What’s worse is, long cardio exercises can cause your muscles to break down! 😫

Cardio exercises are not to be avoided altogether, but it is important to not depend on cardio exercises entirely! Alternatively, you can all try strength training exercises such as using your body weight or dumbbells! 💪🏼
