Short Sleeper 💤 Less Sleep, But Fully Energized. Is this real?!

Hello NEXKY’s beautiful friends! Did you have a good, adequate sleep? But wait…how long is considered ‘adequate’ when 3-4 hours are enough for some?! Follow NEXKY to learn more.

What is considered adequate sleep for a typical person?🛏

Typically, university students like you guys need around 7-9 hours of sleep every day; however, good sleep is not just about how long you sleep! Good, adequate sleep is all about having a deep sleep giving your body time to rest from stress and fatigue. SO, be sure to not stress too much over the number of hours you slept❗️

What about ‘Short Sleeper’? Who are they?🧐

A short sleeper is someone whose body only requires 3-4 hours of sleep to restore your body for the next day. However, simply sleeping less does not mean that you are a short sleeper! The reason why some can wake up fully energized without needing caffeine is because they possess the ADRB1 Gene🧬. Identified in 2009, this rare gene mutation is understood by UC San Francisco to be the reason why only certain people are ‘short sleepers’! This mutation is very rare💥.

Am I a ‘Short Sleeper’❓

If you sleep for a few hours, but…

  • Can start a new day without needing caffeine.
  • You feel fresh and can work efficiently.
  • You have been sleeping like this all your life.
  • You do not wake up in the middle of the night often.

Are you guys like this? If so, NEXKY congratulates you!

If not, make sure you get yourself a good, adequate sleep for a fresh day ahead.

When is it considered a good quality sleep⁉️

  1. Wake up feeling fresh and energized✨
  2. Sleep in a comfortable position🍃
  3. Sleep without feeling stressed or anxious.
  4. Have a deep long sleep without waking up during the night.

Lastly, NEXKY wishes everyone a good sleep. Goodnight everyone 💖
