Before the new semester begins, try giving yourself a little time to “reset.” NEXKY has put together 4 simple reset tips to help you get ready for the upcoming semester. Let’s take a look! 👇🏻🌟

1. Change your sleep schedule at least 1 week in advance 🛌💤 – Try going to bed 30 minutes earlier each day. 
During the break, we tend to stay up late but once the semester starts that can take a toll on your health. Start adjusting your sleep schedule now so waking up for class won’t feel so painful.

2. Reset your environment 🧺🧤 – A clear space, a clear mind.
This one’s easy. Clean your desk or tidy up your room, especially if you live in a dorm.
Once the semester starts, free time becomes limited, so preparing a clean and comfortable study space in advance can really help motivate you to study!

3. Mental reset 🧠 – Reflect so you can move forward stronger. 
NEXKY highly recommends the KPT method to review the past semester and improve the next one. ✨
Keep: what did you do well and should continue? For example, attending class on time.
Problem: What challenge did you face? For example, not having enough time to study. 
Try: What can you do to fix it? For example, time blocking or making a study schedule.

4. Academic warm-up 📚🔥 – Check your class schedule and syllabus 

Getting ready academically can make the new semester much smoother.

(1) Check your class schedule, building, and room numbers. So you don’t get lost on the first day.
(2) Review the syllabus in advance in case there are major projects or exams, so you can plan your time properly.
