On Christmas Eve, most people host gatherings to enjoy dinner and conversation together. The main dish for this festival that should not be missed is roast chicken, which is a symbol of Christmas and is highly popular in the Western culture, whether roasted or grilled. It’s simply delicious!

4️⃣ Gift Exchange 🎁

It is a long-standing tradition, and giving gifts is like expressing love and good wishes to remind us of the love and purity of Jesus during this season.

5️⃣ Decorating the Christmas Tree 🎄

And of course, the most important thing in this festival is decorating the Christmas tree with green lights, stars, or ornaments because it symbolizes the heavenly tree that brings light, happiness, and joy into the lives of families at the end of the year, like a bright candle in the midst of darkness.

1️⃣การห้อยถุงเท้า🧦

    เชื่อกันว่า หากนำถุงเท้าไปแขวนไว้ตามต้นคริสต์มาส หรือ หน้าเตาผิงล่ะก็ ซานตาคลอสก็จะแอบย่องเข้ามาตอนกลางคืน เพื่อนำของขวัญมาวางใต้ต้นคริสต์มาส หรือใส่ลงในถุงเท้า ตามที่เราอธิษฐานไว้เลยย

2️⃣แขวนต้นมิสเซิลโทและฮอลลี🌟

    ผู้คนมักจะนำต้นมิสเซิลโทและฮอลลี ไปแขวนตกแต่งที่หน้าประตูบ้านหรือหน้าห้องนอน เพื่อเป็นสัญลักษณ์ที่บ่งบอกถึงการคุ้มครอง ให้พ้นจากภัยอันตรายและสิ่งไม่ดีต่าง ๆ ตลอดปี โดยเฉพาะช่วงหน้าหนาวแบบนี้!

3️⃣มื้อเย็นด้วยเมนูไก่งวง🍗

   เป็นธรรมเนียมที่สืบต่อกันมาอย่างยาวนาน การมอบของขวัญจึงเสมือนเป็นการแสดงความรักและความปรารถนาดี เพื่อระลึกถึงความรักและความบริสุทธิ์ของพระเยซูในช่วงเทศกาลนี้นี่เอง

    และแน่นอนว่า สิ่งที่สำคัญที่สุดในเทศกาลนี้ คงหนีไม่พ้นการตกแต่งต้นคริสต์มาสสีเขียว ไม่ว่าจะเป็นไฟ ดาว หรือตุ๊กตา เพราะเป็นสิ่งที่สื่อถึงต้นไม้สวรรค์ที่จะนำพาแสงสว่าง ความสุข ความยินดี มาสู่ชีวิตของครอบครัวในท้ายปี เปรียบได้ดั่งแสงเทียนที่สว่าง ท่ามกลางความมืดมิดนั่นเอง

When talking about Christmas, most of us will probably think of the Christmas Tree🎄and the festive songs blasting all around🎶but the celebration of this time of year is not the same everywhere.

Today, NEXKY will be sharing some fun facts about celebrating Christmas in 5 countries that is unique in their own ways.🤩

🇯🇵Japan

The Japanese tend to eat KFC Fried Chicken on Christmas day. The queue is so long, they usually book months in advance!

🇩🇪Germany

The Germans go to an outdoor market on Christmas day with a glass of wine in one hand and a sausage in the other. 

🇬🇷Greece

Greece is surrounded by bodies of water so there are Christmas decorations on the boat. In Athens, the capital city, there is a boat with decorations placed right next to the Christmas tree.

🇦🇺Australia

Christmas in Australia is in the summer as they are in the Southern hemisphere. So Australians can be found at the beach with shrimp in hand and playing cricket on Christmas day.

🇷🇺Russia

Russians don’t celebrate Christmas on the 25th but on the 7th of January as it is Christmas day for the Orthodox, the main religion in Russia.

กรีซเป็นประเทศที่มีทะเลล้อมรอบ จึงมีการตกแต่งต้นคริสต์มาสและเรือในวันคริสต์มาส โดยที่เมืองหลวงของกรีซอย่างเอเธนส์จะมีเรือขนาดใหญ่ที่ประดับด้วยแสงไฟตั้งอยู่ข้างต้นไม้ 

🇦🇺ออสเตรเลีย

คริสต์มาสในออสเตรเลียอยู่ในฤดูร้อนเนื่องจากออสเตรเลียอยู่ทางซีกโลกใต้ ทำให้ชาวออสเตรเลียไปฉลองวันคริสต์มาสริมชายหาด ทานกุ้งเป็นอาหารเที่ยงและเล่นเกมคริกเก็ตกัน

🇷🇺รัสเซีย

ชาวรัสเซียไม่ได้ฉลองคริสต์มาสในวันที่ 25 ธันวาคม แต่ฉลองเทศกาลในวันที่ 7 มกราคมแทนเนื่องจากเป็นวันเฉลิมฉลองคริสต์มาสของชาวคริสต์ออร์โธด็อกซ์ซึ่งเป็นศาสนาหลักที่ชาวรัสเซียยึดถือ 

แต่ละประเทศเรียกได้ว่าฉลองคริสต์มาสกันได้น่าสนใจมากๆ แล้วเพื่อนๆ ฉลองคริสต์มาสแบบไหนกันเอ่ย คอมเมนต์บอก NEXKY มาหน่อย👀

A sweet love song for the festive season and this Christmas will surely be a special one with you around. The music video is sure to make you feel cozy and warm.

This one is sure to stick being the fun and upbeat song from our powerhouse. The story behind it is quite similar to All I Want For Christmas Is You; as long as you are here, I don’t need any other gifts.

6️⃣Wish Tree – Red Velvet 🍀

Let’s take a look at a slower song. This song is a Pop Ballad with a beautiful tone that is cozy and chill. This song talks about 3 wishes for the Christmas tree and let me tell you, they are all just the sweetest.
