Everyone is splashing water on Songkran day. I want to wear makeup, but once I get hit on my face with water my makeup is ruined! What should I do? 🤔

Don’t worry! NEXKY has steps on how to do waterproof makeup. 💄 You can splashing water while slaying with your face 😍

1. Apply moisturizer that suits your skin type 

Moisturizer is a must use skincare that keeps your face hydrated. For oily skin, go for a light formula, and for dry skin, choose a richer texture to keep your skin looking radiant. 

2. Apply sunscreen 

After applying sunscreen, if you have oily skin, lightly dap translucent powder with a fluffy brush, tap off the excess, then gently blend it onto your skin. Then, continue with your makeup. 

3. Use waterproof formula makeup 

Use waterproof formulas for every makeup item, like foundation, powder, blush, lipstick, mascara, eyeliner, and eyebrow pencil, to protect against water and sweat. 

4. Mainly use cream or liquid makeup 

Before layering cream or liquid makeup, it’s advisable to let it set first. Otherwise, you might end up smudging the makeup and getting patchy spots on your face.

5. Spray setting spray 

Setting spray helps set makeup to last longer. To set your makeup, hold the setting spray bottle about 30 centimeters away from your face and then spray.

1. ทาครีมบำรุงให้เหมาะกับสภาพผิว

สกินแคร์ที่ต้องใช้คือมอยส์เจอไรเซอร์ เติมความชุ่มชื้นให้หน้า คนผิวมันให้ใช้สูตรเบาบาง ส่วนคนผิวแห้งก็ใช้สูตรเนื้อเข้มข้นเพื่อให้ผิวฉ่ำๆ

2. ทาครีมกันแดด

หลังจากทาครีมกันแดดแล้ว สำหรับคนหน้ามันให้เอาแปรงแตะแป้งฝุ่นโปร่งแสงเบาๆ แล้ววนที่ฝาตลับก่อนค่อยๆ แตะบนผิว หลังจากนั้นค่อยแต่งหน้าต่อ

3. ใช้เครื่องสำอางสูตรกันน้ำ

เครื่องสำอางทุกชิ้น เช่น รองพื้น แป้ง บลัชออน ลิปสติก มาสคาร่า อายไลเนอร์ ดินสอเขียนคิ้ว ให้ใช้เป็นสูตรกันน้ำ (waterproof) เพื่อกันน้ำและกันเหงื่อ

4. เน้นใช้เครื่องสำอางเนื้อครีมหรือเนื้อน้ำ

เวลาใช้เครื่องสำอางเนื้อครีมหรือน้ำ ก่อนจะลงทับก็ควรรอให้เซ็ตตัวก่อน ไม่งั้นเครื่องสำอางจะติดมือขึ้นและทำให้หน้ามีจุดแหว่งๆ 

5. ฉีดเซ็ตติ้งสเปรย์

เซ็ตติ้งสเปรย์ช่วยให้เครื่องสำอางติดทนมากขึ้น วิธีใช้ให้ถือขวดสเปรย์ห่างจากหน้าประมาณ 30 เซนติเมตร และฉีด

Who’s skipping out on some water fun this Songkran? Even though it’s Thai New Year, we all want to go out and splash away the heat. But with this kind of summer, staying indoors turns you into a homebody immediately. 🥵 So, NEXKY is here to share some ideas on how to cool down during Songkran without having to go out and splash water around the house!!

1️⃣ Eat “Khao Chae” to Refresh Yourself

It’s a must-try, especially during Songkran, with the traditional menu “Khao Chae” from the Mon culture. It’s soaked rice in cool flower-scented water, served with various condiments. Not only delicious and refreshing, but it also nourishes the heart. 🍲

2️⃣ Apply “Cooling Powder” Instead of Sunscreen

Even though the sun is scorching, making you uncomfortable, you can cool down with cooling powder. It helps fight the heat without having to go out and splash water like others. Just applying cooling powder can help relieve the heat. 🧴

3️⃣ “Turn on the Air Conditioner with a Fan” to Stay Cool and Save Energy

With the sun blazing outside like this, who can bear it? Let’s cool down by setting the air conditioner to 25-27 degrees along with a fan to expel the heat and distribute the coolness inside the room. It’ll save more energy than just turning on the air conditioner at a low temperature. You’ll be guaranteed to feel cool and ready for a nap! ❄️

4️⃣ Switch from Water Splashing to “Taking a Shower”

In this hot season, the more sticky you feel, the more taking a shower will bring moisture to your body, making you feel relaxed, and comfortable, and stimulating blood circulation, ready for various activities. 🛁

5️⃣ Choose to Wear “Light-colored Shirts” to Challenge the Heat

Wearing light-colored, breathable clothes like white or yellow will make your body feel the lightest and coolest. Light colors absorb less heat than dark colors and allow better airflow through the fabric.👚

สงกรานต์นี้ใครไม่ได้ออกไปเล่นน้ำบ้าง🙌🏻 ปีใหม่ไทยทั้งที ก็อยากจะออกไปเล่นน้ำคลายร้อน แต่ซัมเมอร์แบบนี้ อยู่ ๆ ก็กลายเป็นคนติดบ้านทันที🥵 NEXKY เลยขอมาแชร์ไอเดีย วิธีดับร้อนในช่วงวันสงกรานต์ แบบฉบับไม่ต้องออกไปสาดน้ำข้างนอกบ้านกัน!! 

1️⃣ กิน “ข้าวแช่” เสริมความสดชื่น

     แน่นอนว่าพลาดไม่ได้ กับเมนูประจำวันสงกรานต์อย่าง “ข้าวแช่” จากวัฒนธรรมชาวมอญ เป็นข้าวสุกแช่ด้วยน้ำดอกไม้เย็น ๆ ทานคู่กับเครื่องเคียงต่าง ๆ ที่กินแล้วรับรองว่าอร่อยและสดชื่น แถมยังช่วยบำรุงหัวใจอีกด้วยนะ🍲

2️⃣ ทา “แป้งเย็น” แทนดินสอพอง

    แม้อากาศอบอ้าว ทำให้ไม่สบายตัว แต่เราก็เพิ่มความเย็นได้ด้วยแป้งเย็น ที่จะมาช่วยสู้หน้าร้อน ถึงไม่ได้ออกไปสาดน้ำ ป้ายดินสอพอง แบบคนอื่น เพียงแค่ประแป้งเย็นก็ช่วยคลายร้อนได้มากไม่แพ้กันเลยย🧴

3️⃣ “เปิดแอร์พร้อมพัดลม” ดับร้อน แบบประหยัดค่าไฟ

    แดดข้างนอกแรงขนาดนี้ ใครจะทนไหว มาระบายความร้อน ด้วยการเปิดแอร์ที่ 25-27 องศาฯ พร้อมกับเปิดพัดลมไล่ความร้อนออกไป และมาช่วยกระจายความเย็นภายในห้อง จะทำให้ประหยัดค่าไฟมากกว่าเปิดแอร์อุณหภูมิต่ำ ๆ อย่างเดียวนะ รับรองว่าเย็นสบาย พร้อมนอน!❄️

4️⃣ เปลี่ยนจากสาดน้ำ มา “อาบน้ำ” กันดีกว่า

     ฤดูร้อนแบบนี้ ยิ่งทำให้ตัวเหนียว การอาบน้ำจะนำความชุ่มชื่นมาให้ร่างกาย รู้สึกผ่อนคลาย สบายตัว และยังช่วยกระตุ้นการไหลเวียนเลือด พร้อมไปทำกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ สุด ๆ🛁

5️⃣ เลือกใส่เสื้อ “สีอ่อน” ท้าหน้าร้อน

     สวมเสื้อผ้าที่โปร่ง และมีสีอ่อน เช่น สีขาว สีเหลือง จะช่วยให้ร่างกายรู้สึกเบา เย็นสบายมากที่สุด เนื่องจากสีที่อ่อนจะดูดซับความร้อนได้น้อยกว่าสีเข้ม และระบายอากาศได้ดีกว่านั่นเอง👚

☀️ ครีมกันแดด 

ไอเทมเด็ดของชาวเมืองร้อนอย่างไทยเรา สำหรับเทศกาลสงกรานต์นี้ เพื่อน ๆ ควรเลือกซื้อครีมกันแดดที่เป็นสูตรกันน้ำ และมี SPF มากกว่า 50 ขึ้นไป เพื่อที่จะสามารถกันแดดและติดทนทานตลอดวัน
